Balmaceda

This small town in Chilean Patagonia is located at the foot of the Andes, not far from the Argentine border. The village is one of the last crossing points for travelers who want to visit southern Chile and Argentine Patagonia by land before the road disappears, prevented by the fragmentation into islets of the extreme south of Chile.
