Arrival of your international flight. Welcome to Chile!

Pick up your car at the Airport to go to San Pedro de Atacama.

Suggestion: A little before San Pedro you can park on your right hand side on the watchtowers that allow you to observe the first lunar landscapes of the region.

Suggestion: Visit the impressive Valley of the Moon.

The Valley of the Moon presents a totally deserted landscape so particular stretches over 12 kilometers long varying between white and ochre colors. A landscape of another planet, totally lunar as its name indicates. For sunset lovers, go there in the afternoon.

Suggestion: Visit the Laguna Cejar.

This site has two lagoons at the entrance of the Salar de Atacama. Bring your swimsuit for a special bathing experience in salt water where you will literally float. After swimming you can head to the Tebequinche Lagoon for sunset.

Suggestion: Take the whole day to visit the Salar d'Atacama and the Lagunas Altiplanicas.

These two sites allow you to discover the entire southern part of the San Pedro Region. There are two types of landscapes: the Salar itself and high altitude lagoons at the foot of the Volcanoes.

Suggestion: Visit the Petroglyphs of Yerbas Buenas and the Valleé Arcoiris (Rainbow.

The Hierbas Buenas site is of historical importance due to the presence of rock art. This site has the most important group of petroglyphs dating from distinct periods in the region. The occasion of a superb stroll while climbing on rocks to appreciate petroglyphs of all kinds. Then you will be able to visit the Valley of Arcoíris, so called because of the different colors that the presence of minerals gives it. There too, you will have the opportunity to walk around unique geological formations.

Suggestion: Visit the Geysers of the Tatio.

To enjoy the geysers leave as early as possible, around 5:00 am to take advantage of the difference in temperature between the air and the 40 or so geysers, 60 hot springs and 70 fumaroles of steam up to 85º . You will arrive at a site at 4400 m. and will be able to enjoy a superb sunrise coming out of the Cordillera, so be sure to bring enough water to bathe in the thermal waters (at 30º)! On the way back, a recommended stop in Machuca, a small Andean village, especially for its small church.

Flight from Santiago de Chile to Punta Arenas (about 3h30 flight time)

Pick up your car at the Airport to go to Puerto Natales.

Suggestion: Visit the city of Punta Arenas.

You can walk around the municipal cemetery with its beautiful gardens and mausoleums. Then, the traditional monument El Ovejero (the shepherd), Costanera Avenue and the waters of the mythical "Strait of Magellan" where you can also visit the Goleta Ancud monument. Later, you can go up the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint to observe the colorful rooftops of the city, the Strait of Magellan and the island of Tierra del Fuego.

The Natural Monument of the Milodon Cave is a fascinating combination of local legends, ancient archaeology and impressive geology. During this tour, you will meet the ancient home of the sloth of Milodon and other prehistoric inhabitants, marvel at hanging stalactites and bold rock formations, explore the cave system of the Natural Monument and learn about the strange legend of the Silla del Diablo (Devil's Chair).

This large lake, with its crystalline waters gives it an incredible beauty, in which you can see the Cuernos del Paine reflected. The lake is the ideal place to see exotic animal species and unique vegetation. The small dirt road that you will take to get there crosses the many lakes in the area and will offer you breathtaking scenery.

Located inside the Torres del Paine National Park, the lake gives one of the most impressive postcards of Chile. Declared a World Biosphere Reserve, its waters covered with icy sediments and huge floating icebergs will leave you speechless. Its gray waters and its depth of more than five hundred meters, make it possible to practice kayaking and canoeing. Immortalize the moment with your camera, and admire the rocky massifs that surround it and give birth to the Southern Ice Fields.
