Museum of pre-Colombian Art

The restrictive number of pieces presented here do not prevent the huge variety of theirs origins: from Cusco region to the coastal plains, from 1250 B.C. to 1532 (year of the Spanish invasion)... A major part of these objects come from storages of the Larco Herrera Museum in Lima. The good presentation and the adapted illumination of the rooms, as the detailed explanations and the quotes in the walls said by great intellectuals and anthropologists, give to this exhibition a very good quality.
