You will take the bus to go towards the Inca site.
The guided tour of the site lasts about two hours; A dream of every traveller, legend having not yet delivered all its mysteries, the citadel of Machu Picchu continues to bewitch and seduce visitors in search of magic.

Its particular geographical location gives it an insolent and intoxicating beauty. The organization of the site into several districts and the geographical constraints of the region highlight the greatness and genius of the Inca civilization...

day 6: Discover the Colorful Mountains of Palccoyo

Set off at dawn for a day unlike any other, heading toward breathtaking landscapes and hidden natural wonders. Far from the crowds, the Palccoyo valley reveals its surreal rainbow mountains in a majestic and peaceful setting.

A gentle hike leads you through spectacular views to a stunning panoramic point. Then, wander down into a quiet valley surrounded by snowy peaks and untouched nature.

After a picnic lunch in the wild, the journey continues into a secret canyon where water, rock, and time have carved out an unexpected world. Adventurous souls may even stumble upon ancient cave paintings hidden deep in this wild landscape.

Return to Cusco in the evening, your heart full of wonder.

day 7: Visit the Altiplano
Transfer from your hotel to the bus terminal and departure Puno by bus.

Crossing through the great landscapes of the andean plateaus, many stops are planning to visit interesting places.

Andahuaylillas famous for it early 17th century church, known as the "Sistine Chapel of South America" due to the frescoes and paintings that decorate.

Visit to the Raqchi site where, the Inca temple of Wiracocha, the creative god, is located.

Then a stop in La Raya pass where the oxygen will be scarcer. 14232 ft. above the sea level.

Finally you will discover the lithic museum of Pucara, wich show the andean people evolution from the first men to the incas.

day 8: Immersion in the heart of Lake Titicaca
Early in the morning, you leave Puno for one of South America's most mythical places: the legendary Lake Titicaca. A name that makes you dream, a place that inspires.

Before you know it, the deep blue of the lake stretches as far as the eye can see. You glide into an astonishing world: the floating islands of the Uros, woven from reeds and traditions. Here, everything is handmade, and every encounter opens the door to a unique ancestral culture.

Then on to the island of Taquile, perched between green hills and infinite panoramas. The inhabitants, guardians of ancient know-how, welcome you with simplicity and pride. You'll discover textiles of great finesse, worn with meaning and significance, in a setting where time seems suspended.

On site, take time to stroll around, enjoy a leisurely lunch and soak up the island's peaceful atmosphere.

In the afternoon, head back to Puno, your heart soothed by this escapade between sky, lake and traditions.

day 9: From Puno to La Paz
Transfer to the Puno bus terminal.

Departure at 07:00am from the Puno bus terminal. The journey by bus to Desaguadero takes about 3 hours. Arrival in Desaguadero and stop at the border for customs formalities.

Then departure of the bus to La Paz for about 3 hours by car.
Arrival in La Paz in the early afternoon. Free lunch to be provided in the form of a lunch box.

day 10: Day at leisure in La Paz and night bus trip to Uyuni
Free day in La Paz to discover by yourself this amazing city.

Transfer to the bus terminal of La Paz.

Departure of the bus at 21:00pm. Transfer by comfortable tourist bus to Uyuni.

day 11: The wonderful Salar de Uyuni
Arrival in Uyuni and transfer by private vehicle.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in 4WD.

First stop at the train cemetery, near the city, where old steam locomotives from the beginning of the last century quietly end their lives. Their golden age saw them transporting silver ore from the surrounding mines.

We will then continue towards the village of Colchani on the banks of the Salar. Here we exploit... salt, an abundant resource in the area. The inhabitants extract salt in blocks (for animals) or in grains (for human consumption) using picks.

After this visit, we entered the heart of the matter, the Salar. This white and geometric expanse as far as the eye can see turns into a perfect mirror during the rainy season. In the distance is the outline of the island of Incahuasi, which we will also discover. On this island lost in the middle of a sea of salt, hundreds of giant cacti grow indistinctly: it is the refuge of the viscachas (a kind of Andean rabbit).

After a good lunch on the island, where a superb panoramic view of the salt lake is offered, departure by road towards the south, towards San Juan. Lunch and dinner included.

day 12: Discovery of the North Lipez Desert
Departure from the refuge towards the Ollagüe volcano, which we will surround by the Chiguana Salt Flats.

Then, we will head south and gradually climb until we reach the first Altiplano lakes.

These shallow lakes change color according to the time of day and are the refuge of the pink flamingos. This bird, generally associated with the heat and the coast, has adapted to this ecosystem and we can find three different species (Chilean, James and Andean flamingos).

We will then continue towards the Siloli desert, populated by strange natural sculptures: to appreciate them better, a stop has been planned near one of the most spectacular, the stone tree.

Lunch on the way in the form of a packed lunch.

Finally, arrival at the Colorada Lagoon, spectacular for its bright red color due to the algae and plankton that thrive in this mineral-rich water (sodium, magnesium, borax and gypsum).

At the end of the day, we will head towards Huayllajara.

day 13: Colorful geysers and lakes of South Lipez
Today, departure at dawn to reach the geysers of Sol de Mañana.

Located at an altitude of more than 4850 m, this geyser field is fed by an underlying volcanic activity. This is manifested by the presence of boiling craters, fumaroles of sulphurous vapours and, of course, boiling water geysers.

After this spectacle of the Earth, we will go to the thermal baths of Polques, where the volcanic activity has a calmer face: the thermal baths, characterized by mineral-rich water at a temperature of about 30ºC.

After swimming, we will have a comforting breakfast that will allow us to fight against the very low temperatures of this altitude.

The visit continues at the Salar de Chalviri, populated by flamingos and pink ducks, under the benevolent gaze of the Licancabur volcano (5960 m).

We will also cross the Dali desert, which takes its name from its gigantic stones with strange shapes.

Then we will arrive at the Green Lagoon, which owes the color of its waters to the high concentration of lead carbonate, sulfur, arsenic and calcium, a color that changes according to the winds.

Crossing the Bolivia/Chile border (Hito Cajón). Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.
