Anakena

Anakena is the main beach of the island. It is a white sandy beach, which contrasts with the black volcanic stone present everywhere. It is also a postcard landscape, with the turquoise and transparent sea, palm trees, sand, in short a real Polynesian landscape! The beach is of course guarded by two Ahu, including Ahu Nau Nau, an alignment of 7 Moaïs, some of them very well preserved, with their headdresses.
