How to organize a combined trip between Chile and Bolivia, between Chile and Peru, and between Chile, Peru and Bolivia?

Antipode is present in three countries: Peru, Bolivia and Chile.

It is thus possible to envisage a stay covering 2 or even 3 countries! All this without intermediaries since we are physically installed there and that we have advisers having chosen to live in these countries.

In fact, an infinity of possibilities are offered to you. But beware, there are however a few rules to be respected.

For the construction of a multi-destination trip, here are a few tips to take into account:

- Peru, Bolivia and Chile are huge countries, so you won't be able to see everything, so give priority to quality on a few well-chosen sites over quantity.

- Keep in mind the distances! Between Patagonia and Machu Picchu for example, there are almost 6000 km and by plane! Therefore, choose a homogeneous "zone" around these three countries.

- Take into account the local modes of transport! Some journeys cannot be made by plane. Buses and 4x4s are often used, also for budget reasons, which lengthens travel times and therefore the length of stays.

- Calculate your travel time and your budget carefully. The more distance you travel, the more it impacts these two points, especially because of the budget airfare. To be able to visit these three destinations count around 18 days minimum.

- Choose your destinations carefully.  The destinations themselves do not have the same attractions: where Peru has an exceptional cultural heritage, Bolivia and Chile are more natural sites. We therefore recommend two options:

A theme trip, culturally homogenous, for example to get to know a region in greater depth. Arrival in Lima (Peru), the region of Cusco and Machu Picchu (Peru) associated with Lake Titicaca (Peru/Bolivia) then to the Salar d'Uyuni (Bolivia) and the Atacama Desert (Chile), return from Santiago (Chile). Andean history and culture as well as the landscapes of the high plateaus of the Andes Cordillera are at the heart of this project. 3 countries, 3 capitals, 1 cultural unit. A trip focused on hiking is also a very good option.

A trip to see very different sites. This implies "jumps" and choices with more distance. Extremely different sites exist in these three countries. The Inca culture of Machu Picchu (Peru), the Amazonian forest (Peru/Bolivia), the deserts of Huacachina (Peru), South Lipez (Bolivia) or Atacama (Chile), Easter Island (Chile), the Patagonian glaciers (Chile)....

We recommend you more than anything else for a multi-destination stay to get in touch with one of our advisers.
